About CHI
CHI Overhead Doors builds residential and commercial garage doors in Arthur, Illinois, and it's the line we've carried the longest. The residential lineup runs from classic raised-panel steel through carriage-house and plank styling to full-view aluminum and glass, with enough factory colors and finishes that you're not choosing between three shades of beige. The part that matters once the door is on your house is that replacement panels and hardware stay available years later, which is what you want from whoever built it.

Popular CHI Series
Traditional Steel (2216, 2250, 2251)
Insulated steel doors in raised-panel and long-panel designs. This is the door most people picture when they picture a garage door, and there's nothing wrong with that. Several insulation levels are available, so a heated shop gets a different door than a garage that just holds the mower.
Accents Woodtones
Steel doors with a wood-look finish that holds up surprisingly well in person. You get the warmth of stained wood without sanding and re-staining anything every few years, which is worth thinking about on a door that takes full sun and Georgia humidity.
Planks Series
Clean horizontal lines and not much else, which is the point. A modern door that suits newer builds and mid-century homes. Available with a band of glass across the top if you want daylight in the garage.
Full-View Aluminum & Glass
An aluminum frame filled with glass panels. Clear, frosted, seeded, or obscured, depending on how much light you want coming in and how much of your garage you want the neighbors seeing.
